Inaruwa is the headquarters of Sunsari District of Nepal. Inaruwa Municipality is the headquarters of Sunsari District in Nepal. It lies on the Mahendra Highway, near Koshi Bridge. Inaruwa is a small town situated on the eastern bank of the holy Sunsari River and almost in the South-East part of Nepal This town is a municipality. Some of the popular places are Mahendra Chok, Shakhuwagacchi Chok, Balaha, Purbatole or SriRamanuja Tole, Magar Tole, Tharu Tole, Main Market area etc.
